MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)

Between theMcDowellCountyREACH Coalition

 

And the Named Coalition Member (Individual or Organization)

  

I. By signing this document, I am agreeing to the following:

 

 

(A) I will understand and support the mission and vision of the McDowell County REACH WV Coalition.

 

(B) I will attend at least 50% of the Coalition meetings and come prepared.

 

(C) I will serve on a Committee of the McDowell County REACH WV Coalition.

 

 

(D) I will assist in the development of programs and policies for and by the Coalition.

 

 

(E) I will attend activities, programs and functions sponsored by and/or supporting the McDowell County REACH WV Coalition.

 

 

(F) I will be a public supporter of the Coalition.

 

 

(G) I will commit myself to no less than 12-months of service to this Coalition.

 

 

II. ThisMOUwill beineffect for a period of one year and can be renewed by written agreement of both parties. Either Party can terminate this agreement at any time by providing notice in writing to the other Party. 

 

 

III. This MOU does not in any way restrict either of the Parties from participating in any activity with other public or private agencies, organizations or individuals; however, Coalition members should not be in conflict with the REACH initiative in West Virginia either through their work or personally. Conflicts include working closely with competing funding sources on similar projects or accepting money for REACH related activities.

 

IV. This MOU is neither a fiscal nor a tender obligation document. Nothing in this MOU authorizes or is intended to obligate the Parties to expend, exchange, or reimburse funds, services, or supplies, or transfer or receive anything of value.

 

 

V. All agreements herein are subject to, and will be carried out in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and other REACH project requirements.

 

 

 

This Memorandum of Understanding is effective on the calendar date following the date both parties to this agreement have signed this document.
